Easy Care Auto Warranty is a new comer to the auto warranty game, online anyway. Looks like they are boasting the following:

“EasyCare has already paid out nearly $2 Billion in claims, protecting family budgets for 26 years.”

Well how about it folks? There must be a few Easy Care car warranty customers out there that have at least called these guys. How were their prices? I try not to do my own sneaky reviews of auto warranty quotes that companies like Easy Care offer, as it wastes their time and money. So that’s your job people – let the world know if Easy Care is another company to stay away from (Check out our Auto Warranty Scams page for more), or are they a good company that will pay your auto repair bills on time?

There are so few auto warranty companies out there these days – this blog was started at a time when robo-calls were at their highest, and companies were popping up left and right trying to get in on the game. Easy Care looks legit, what do you know about them? Just a comment’ll do, but if you have a full on review about your experience with these guys we’d really appreciate it! Even give you a guest highlight spot if you like in our upcoming section – Highlighted Testimonials. We’ll have both good reviews and bad available. Get at me if you are interested in posting a long review on Easy Care Extended Warranty or another car warranty company – admin@automotivewarrantyreivew.com

AWR has had a chance to interview AA Auto Protection! We have a basic list of questions we run through when given this opportunity (which most auto warranty companies seem to shy away from… shady!). Here is the interview – AWR gives a big thumbs up to AA Auto Protection.

What makes your company unique?

AA Auto Protection was the first company to post all of the contracts it offers in full, online. So there’s never a question about what our customers are actually being offered. We also unique in having our Privacy Protection Guarantee, which means we never buy, sell, or rent consumer information. Finally, we’re the only company that operates a department exclusively devote to following-up with sold customers, to make sure everything is okay, and to answer any questions. We also have chosen to remain totally independent, and have steered clear of flashy endorsement and affiliation, both of which incur serious costs that are ultimateley passed down to the consumer. We know other companies engage in those kind of gimmicks, and their customers pay the price. We prefer to stake our success on our professionalism and reputation.

Please briefly explain your claims process:

As a broker, AA Auto Protection isn’t involved in claims, which is handled by our contract providers. But with all of them, the claims process is easy: Customers take their vehicle to their favorite licensed repair facility, and ask the shop to diagnose the problem. The shop then contacts the administrator, and submits the claim. If the problem is covered and approved, then the shop performs the work. After the repairs are completed, the shop calls the administrator again to receive payment by credit card, minus any applicable deductible. The customer’s job is just to take the car to the shop. The shop’s job is just to call the administrator twice, once for approval and once more to get paid. That’s it.

Do you offer financing on your extended service contract? How many
payments can be made?

Yes, no-interest, no-cost, no-credit check payment plans are available, for up to 15 months, and with as little as 10% of the purchase price as a first payment. Our payment plan prices are identical to our paid-in-full prices.

When a customer’s car needs to be fixed, where do they take it?

Customers are welcome to use any licensed repair facility throughout the US and Canada. (Editor: This is a BIGGIE guys, make sure that any warranty you decide on offers this crucial feature. Any reputable company will offer this – stay away from those that do not!)

Please briefly describe your basic contract. If you have different levels of service, please describe those.

We offer a full range of options. The most comprehensive plan is exclusionary, meaning that only parts not covered are listed. The most basic are powertrain plans, which cover engine, transmission, and drive axle assembly. And there are many others in-between. Really, we offer so many options that the plans can practically be customized for a customer’s needs.

Do you offer free quotes? How do we go about starting that process?

Absolutely. No-obligation free quotes are available by visiting our website, https://www.aaautowarranty.com/quote.asp , or reaching us by phone at 888-222-4445, option 1.

What is a common mistake that people make when purchasing an auto
warranty (vehicle service contract)?

Great question. By far the biggest error is not thoroughly reviewing the contract being considered prior to purchasing it. Although the contracts aren’t long, parts are complicated, and it’s impossible for a consultant to go over every detail with customers. That’s why it’s important for customers to take advantage of the opportunity to read the proposed contract before spending any money. The next best thing is to take some time during the 30 day money-back-guarantee review period after purchasing to make sure the contract is completely suitable. (Editor: That’s the first I’ve seen a 30 day money guarantee in this business – not too shabby

Do you offer any special warranties, for other vehicles (boats, motorcycles) or otherwise?

From our beginning we’ve specialized in plans for automobiles, and that’s what we still do today. But speaking of special plans, coming very soon AA Auto Protection will be one of the few, and certainly the largest, vehicle service contract agency to be fully licensed, insured, and authorized by the State of California to offer mechanical breakdown policies. Companies that aren’t approved by CA can only sell product warranties. We’ve chosen not to offer to product warranties in CA. We just don’t believe in them.

Any final thoughts on why your company is the one to go with?

There’s a lot of strong friendly competition out there. We feel that AA Auto Protection should be the customer’s choice because we are among the oldest – online since 2004 but operating many years before that -, because we never engage in high-pressure sales, because we are founding members of the Vehicle Protection Association (an industry consumer protection organization), because we offer only top-tier administrators with excellent ratings and reputations, because of our Low Price Guarantee, because we operate as a full-disclosure company, and finally, we like to think that we’re nice people to work with. We don’t rely on expensive endorsements from spokesman who aren’t familiar with what we do, and we don’t depend on other agencies like the BBB, or other pay to play organizations, to speak for us. We’ve been successful and have a strong reputation because we take our customers’ needs very seriously, and work hard to serve them well.

There you have it folks – now it’s time to let us know what You think of

AA Auto Protection

.

(Editors note: Any attempts to post abusive or false information about this company will not be posted – I check your IP address and can tell if you are a competitor just trying to flame.)

Agape Car Warranty may be gone. I have heard nothing but bad press about this extended car warranty company. The first I heard about them came from an owner of a car repair shop in Sacramento, California; he said he tried contacting them in order to get paid on a customer’s car, they gave him a credit card and it didn’t work! Then he contacted them again for the reimbursement money and they said they would send a check. Can you guess what happened next? That’s right, no check! The customer is now stuck with a hefty car repair bill that he thought was going to be covered by this extended car warranty company.

Upon further research on this car warranty company I found the following to complement the story I heard:

Complaints on Ripoff Report

Complaints on Complaint Board

Their website is null

Interesting enough, I haven’t found any news articles on this extended car warranty company.

A lot of the complaints read followed an interesting pattern: They never paid my repairs that was covered in my contract. I went to their business location and they were gone! There was an eviction notice on their business location. I can’t get a hold of Agape.

So what’s up Agape?

This goes to show that before you decide to purchase an extended bumper to bumper car warranty or a used car warranty you need to do research on the different car warranty companies out there! Find a company that will help you along the way and find the best car warranty out there for your car and situation!

This extended car warranty company looks good with their A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. However, when cruising their site I could gather absolutely no information about what they offer or about extended car warranties in general. Basically, if you want information about Nation Warranty Corporation you can choose to click on one of three buttons on their website: Experience Live Chat, Get a Free Quote, or Call Us Today. I personally would like the option to cruise through a car warranty site and gather as much information about the company and what they offer before I call; that way I feel armed with information. I would like to know what different types of service plans they offer as well as a general price range. My comfort level with a car warranty company also goes up when I have the opportunity to research the type of repair and car maintenance coverage they offer. I do have to say that the landing page of their website looks very nice and bold.

We currently do not have any reviews for this extended auto warranty company as of yet. Do you have an experience with this car warranty company; if so please share below.

I strive to keep up with all the different extended car warranty companies in order to keep you updated; I don’t know how I missed this one! In checking out Carchex I have found only one complaint on Ripoff Report, which was refuted by an employee. Truthfully, the complaint was not enough to keep me from continuing my research on this extended car warranty company. The BBB gives Carchex an A rating and every review I have read is positive.

I personally checked out the website of this car warranty company and was very impressed by the amount of information they offered. Unlike other extended car warranty companies they have all their contracts available for your viewing right their online! I read through the most basic service plan available and to be honest it seemed very straight forward; they didn’t try to hide any information about the car service plan by using double talk or super fine print.

They offer several coverage options and allow you to pick your own repair facility. There are some stipulations in making sure that your repairs are covered, like waiting 30 days after purchase date, not covering preexisting repairs, and limiting coverage up to the first 100,000 miles. Pretty basic if you ask me!

Now it’s your turn! We want to hear first hand from people that have experienced Carchex. Have you used Carchex’s services?
