EDITORS NOTE (08/30/2011): Mr. Car Warranty is, obviously, now advertising their service on our site. We think they offer a great service, and we’re pleased to let them use our reviews as part of their research.
Here is another service that will assist you with a live rep, and help you find the best car warranty for your needs from among several auto warranty companies. The service is pretty good – I had Shelly help me out.
After a fairly intensive search I led her on for my hypothetical BMW 540i, I let her know I was simply reviewing the service. She was able to answer a few question that you should always ask when buying a warranty – check out our article in the news section on this topic. All these companies like e-surance and Mr Car Warranty now a days with their cartoon people! I love it, brings some fun to the web. I’ll have to see if Mr. Car Warranty is associated with e-surance, as of now, I think they just have similar branding.
All in all, a good place that will spend some time with you to answer questions, provide multiple options, etc…
What do you think? Have you dealt with Mr. Car Warranty? Do you like their television commercials? Let us know!

What I like about this company is that they are not really vested in directing you to one company or another. They gave me a quote for my 2003 Mitsubishi Galant from US Fidelis, DirectBuy and Agape, and were prepared to give me more. I ended up going with Agape, and so far so good! The quote system of Mr. Car Warranty is good – what they quoted me the rate would be at Agape was exactly what Agape told me it would be. Good experience with them! 5 stars!
Yah, like Hamlet said they are good at helping you shop around and get a quote. They gave me prices from just 2 places though, but I didn’t ask for any more. Decided not to get a warranty just yet. and I told Mr. Car Warranty to NOT TELEMARKET TO ME and she said they don’t do that, and that to robodial (is that what it’s called when they just call you with a automated message?) is ILLEGAL!! I hate those calls, but actually haven’t got one in a few months.
I just got off the phone with a young lady who was able to answer a lot of my questions about car warranties in general. I agree that this is a nice service to use when you don’t want to deal with calling 3 or 4 companies directly, and having them “hard sell” you into their service.
This car warranty company was very helpful in assisting me with my used car warranty for my honda. They answered all my questions and were very sincere in their help.
Mr Car Warranty is a sort of price-comparison shopping service for auto warranties. I gave them my info, they did their search, and connected me with the company that was the best value. It doesn’t cost anything, they are helpful – good service. It didn’t cost me anything so why not?
This beats my little excel spread sheet method! I was literally sitting here calling companies, reviewing them online, and then putting the quote details into my sheet for comparison. Then I saw the car warranty site with the super hero – mrcarwarranty – and gave them a shot.
Folks, if you are doing a bunch of research like I was, save yourself some time and just give these guys a shout. They’ve already got general info available, and what you’ll find is that any of the companies worth doing business with are pretty much in the same ball park, But they referred me to a company with the same ratings and history, AND a much better deal.
Of course it was easy for me to see that. I’d done the research and knew a few things to look out for, and what to make sure the warranty includes, and what a decent quote was for a company that would actually pay my repair claim.
There are a lot of warranty scams out there in my opinion, and especially some that are, if not scams, simply REALLY HARD folks to deal with. This site seems to get rid of a lot of the BS and point people in a good direction. I’m actually on the phone with them right now!! Talking with Kameron…he’s doing a search…I was using this site here to review the companies
