Agape Auto Warranties Company Review agapeautowarranties.com

Extended Auto Warranties: Agape Auto Warranties, a Vehicle Warrany Company

In doing research for Automotive Warranty Review, I came across a lot of information about Agape Auto Warranties. If you type in their company name online the BBB review comes up and they only have had three complaints against them. I did a little browsing on their website and was not too impressed with the navigation or information presented, but on the other hand I have not heard anything negative so far with this company.

Now, I am not really sure of the set up that Agape has at this moment. The big question is, have they set up their own warranty company, or do they just get leads and pass them on? I’m not sure. The quote on the home page is what they want each customer to fill out – but the quote form for Agape is so long it must take users at least 20 minutes to fill out!

On the other end of the spectrum – you can use the form we provide on the right that is ust 3 questions! Or you can call 877.298.0064

Anyone reading this have experience with Agape Auto Warranties? Let us know what you think! One thing that Agape offers that I really respect is a special discount for military, law enforcement and firefighters. These guys do a lot for our country and towns, and Agape Auto Warranties has the right idea in my book by offering them discounts.

I can hear it now…”What about nurses, teachers, and all the others that make our world better”? Nope, sorry guys. Over at Agape, you are paying full price!

One last point to mention about Agape is the “Mirrored Factory Extended Coverage” plan. This auto service contract appears to be set up to work exactly like a manufacturers warranty. So if you had an auto warranty for your vehicle and then it ran out, but you wanted a new warranty that works just like that one, this extended warranty might be for you. Check Agape Auto Warranties auto service contract for details.

They are not a referral service or broker, but offer their own warranties (I believe they are under the umbrella of a larger company, but I am not sure). Their customer service has been outstanding and their prices are competitive (with the discount they are more than competitive). Now, the real test, I have to take my vehicle in for some repairs. Then, maybe, I should post. I am looking forward to being just as satisfied as when I first purchased my policy.

I purchased an extended warranty with Agape and does not expire until 11/12/2012. My initial experience was extremly pleasant, very kind and courteous. I have had three warranty repairs on my vehicle since I puchased this warranty. I have had nothing but problems with this company (Mike Calozza). They refuse to pay for the repairs in a timely manner and currently the dealership that I have been using for YEARS has stated that they WONT work on my car any longer due the the history that they have had on dealing with this warranty company. They still have not been paid for the replacement of my AC which was repaired in early December. They send payment but dont sign the check, give wrong credit card information, are rude to the dealership, wont return their calls or answer mine. BEWARE!

this company is an absolute scam. I purchased an extended warranty for $2600 on May 5 2009 & took my car into the dealer for a gas leak on Jan 15 2010. Not only did MIKE FROM AGAPE (probably the owner & mom-pop operator) not call back, you couldnt even leave a voice mail because “mail box was full.” DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY–YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF.

Following up on my January 14th response. The dearlership has still not been paid for the A/C repair. The web site for Agape Autowarranties cannot be accessed and their phone number is always busy.
Yesterday my A/C stopped cooling. Agape would not pay the price for the dealerships compressor and sent their own from an unknown source. That compressor was bad. I now have to purchase and pay for the repair of my AC as agape is nowhere to be found.

This is a scam. I got rip off $3,860.00 for extended warranty with Agage Auto Warranties. They approved the repair and never paid a penny for it. I have to pay the shop in order to get my vehicle back. Now they don’t answer phone call, nor response to email. His name is Mike. Stay away from these nasty people unless you want to get ripped off like me.

I have been unable to receive a refund (sold car) since I mailed them a request on October 3, 2009. They have moved out of the 1356 Chandler Blvd office and all phones are disconnected. Any ideas? Mike assured me a refund in December after numerous calls.

    Thanks,

    Dan

I took my car in for repairs in December and Agape aporoved the work to the tune of about $500. The Dealership called me today and said they never got paid and are looking to me for the money. I have tried to call Agape and all of thier phone numbers are no longer working. Does anyone know whats going on with them? I just paid over $2,000.00 for this protection in November.

I have been trying, as well as my auto dealer, today to contact them to get a warrantee repair and all of the telephone numbers listed are ringing “busy”. I think that this company must be out of business!!! Don’t use them, I have a $773.00 repair bill that needs to be taken care of and I have no one to call if their telephone numbers (including their fax) don’t work!!!

Did you get your car repaired? I can not get through to Agape. Mark

I purchased an extended warranty for my Audi on Oct. 14th for $2122. I received a call yesterday from my sister saying that she received a letter from Agape saying the they are fling for bankruptcy! I have yet to receive this letter but I’m sure it on the way! I tried calling and their phone has been disconnected. I check BBB in Oct. when I was thinking about using them and they had a A- rating. Today it’s an F! So much for their claim to being a “Christian company who believes in always doing the right thing for their clients.” Im so mad at myself for believing him when he told me not to worry about them going out of business because they financially stable!

I’ve been a customer for just over a year now. I just got a letter in the mail they have gone bankrupt! My $2k just went into the toilet. I still had two years and about 30,000 miles left on my warranty. I would be happy to participate in a class action suit if there is one. But you know what they say, you can’t get blood from a turnip.

I just received a letter from Agape Auto Warranties stating that Due to the current economic conditions Agape Auto Warranties was forced to cease all operations.

“Due to these unforeseen circumstances you may be receiving a bankruptcy notice”.

We have been a customer of Agape for four years and never had a problem. So in December I bought another policy for our motohome and car only to find out Mike Calozza is no where to be found. We are out $2600.00.

Law suit, count me in as well……

I purchased two warranties. Total $4800.00 and never had a claim. I contacted the Phoenix FBI and they took my info. I advised the FBI that Mike Calozza already had a 8,850,000.00 judgement against him in 1995. If interested look under Maricopa, County. CR95-327. We all need to work together on this. Lets not let this guy use his Christian line of bull on other people and put him and his counterparts away for a long time. Please contact the Phoenix FBI and ask for the duty officer. Give them your info. My email is mscott5@tampabay.rr.com 727 686 8616. Mark

I have total of six cars with entended warranties with this Co (cost over 25K), now, they can not be reachable, phone disconnected, these guys should be prosecuted, or put into prison, who wants to join me for law suit against Mike and the co he worked for?

  20. mark scott March 3, 2010 at 2:06 pm #

Interesting, my last review was removed? Once again everyone, we need to work together on this scammer and his partners. Mike Calozza already has a $8 million dollar judgement against him. Check Maricopa county files. I contacted the Phoenix FBI and spoke to the duty officer. The FBI has opened a file on this. Everyone needs to contact the FBI and file a report. He might have our money, but he will not beable to spend it in prison. For more info contact me @ mscott5@tampabay.rr.com or 7276868616 Mark

    SCAM ARTIST: MICHAEL CALOZZA

  23. Harold Harder June 3, 2010 at 12:54 pm #

I, too, will participate in a class action lawsuit if anyone wishes to pursue legal action.

  24. J.J July 13, 2010 at 5:34 pm #

I just found out Michael Calozza never sent AGAPE Warranties my money, therefore they’re not going to honor the warranty. I tried clalling Michael Calozza , and like everyone else, no response. AGAPE should be careful with whom they allow to sell warranties for them. There name is at stake also..
I will participate in a law suit also. .

  25. Martha August 13, 2010 at 6:54 pm #

We also are out 1600 same scenario received a letter notifying us of bankrupcy. Class action, you bet

  26. LuAnn B December 19, 2010 at 4:56 pm #

Same as everyone else…probably worse. I have been purchasing warranties from Michael Calozza for over 6-years….2003 forward….with no problem UNTIL early 2010. It is everyone here says…we got ripped off. I was paying an average of $1500 for each warranty…we care for persons with developmental disabilities, thus own 7-vehicles. If I had not been so trusting, or more wise, I would have put the $10,000 grand in my account and paid for repairs as needed. At least I would have had some interest paid.
